To lend some creditability to this testimony I would like to give you a brief history of my own work experience. I am a retired general contractor and carpenter. My main scope of work in the construction industry was all aspects of residential remodeling, some custom home building, and light commercial work. I am very particular and detail orientated.

When this past summers storms brought massive hail damage to my personal residence, I decided that I wanted to reside my home with James Hardie Artisan Lap Siding. This was a product that I had never used in my contracting career. So with that, I began my investigation of the product and made the determination that this was the best product suited for my requirements and expectations over all other siding options available (vinyl, aluminum, wood, masonite type siding etc.).

My next step was working up a complete material list including specialty tools and fasteners that I would need to do the installation myself. After giving it great consideration and thought, I came to the conclusion that I did not necessarily have the expertise, equipment, or manpower resources available to me to perform the work myself. Therefore, I put it out for bid.

Through my sources, I was able to purchase the material myself. What I needed was a bid on labor only to install the James Hardie Siding. I was given the names of several James Hardie contractors.

After receiving quotes from the various contractors, I made the decision to choose STL Siding Pros. I could not have made a better choice. There are numerous reasons for me stating this.

First of all, Pedro and his crew were outstanding. Pedro started with me on the first visit measuring up my house, to presenting me with the bid and then he was also on the job working with his men from the time the project began to its completion. They worked diligently and professionally with the skill of great craftsman. They worked very well together and it appeared that they enjoyed very much what they were doing. All homes have their particular challenges, mine was no different, and when they came across these situations, their approach to rectify the condition was a sign of true craftsmanship, something that seems to be rarely seen anymore.

Prior to the job beginning, Pedro and I walked through the project and discussed all the fine detail. Detail makes all the difference between a job done, and a job done right, STL Siding Pros reflect this.

In comparison to the other contractors that gave me bids on my project, Pedro was very competitive and reasonable in his bid and in our negotiation of some minor details, and there were no surprises at anytime during the project.
